We are a south Warwickshire based legal firm looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor.

The role:
We are looking for a driven and ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor with strong experience within this field and ideally with 3 -4 years’ PQE and above. You will handle a busy and broad caseload of work covering Commercial Property matters such as investment work, acquisitions/disposals, landlord and tenant, secured lending and corporate support as well as strategic advice. The successful candidate will be supported by a legal assistant.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and need low level supervision in the performance of day-to-day responsibilities. They will be confident in handling significant levels of responsibility within their work and be proactive in getting involved in business development. They should be able to provide logical, pragmatic, clear, accurate and concise advice to clients. They will have a good understanding of the client needs and be able to provide outstanding client care and communication.
They will also have the ability to handle a diverse caseload professionally and competently in other areas of law where necessary.
Responsibilities:
- To manage a broad range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing and property management and assist in other areas when required.
- Advise clients on all aspects of commercial property law, including landlord and tenant matters, property finance, and development projects.
- Draft and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, leases, and licenses.
- Conduct due diligence and research to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals to facilitate property transactions.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients and stakeholders
Maintain accurate records and manage billing and timekeeping. - Maintain clear and precise communications with other staff and ensure good working relationships with staff and external institutions.
- Take responsibility for and attend to self-development through training and other means to keep fully up to date with relevant training required by the Law Society and to assist with in-house training.
Marketing:
The successful candidate will need to be proactive and innovative in promoting the firms’ services and to actively seek ways to contribute to the continuing evolution of the business.
They will need to help maintain and expand the work of the department, provide advice, guidance and competently manage administrative staff within the department. As well as developing leadership skills to optimise the team, monitor and develop systems and procedures within the department.
The candidate will also be happy to seek and attend or arrange promotional and /or networking for the firm.
